Remembrance at Golden Valley
In assembly today we have been learning about Remembrance and giving thanks to the Armed, Emergency and Civilian services.
A big thank you to everyone who has generously donated to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
On Sunday, many of us will be taking part in Remembrance Sunday parades and services.
We remember the Armed Forces, Emergency and civilian services because they:
- Do difficult and dangerous jobs
- Spend lots of time away from their friends and family
- Work to keep us safe.
A big thank you to all of those former and serving members of our community.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them.
