Half Term Building Improvements
During the October break, doors were added to both EYFS classrooms and both Year 1 classrooms.
The addition of classrooms doors ends the open-plan nature of both year groups and noise distraction and our older children move past these classrooms for Computing, PE and our school assemblies.
It makes it easier for children to focus on their learning and reduces background noise during phonics lessons, which will really help children with their early reading.
The doors can be wedged open to allow the staff some flexibility in how they use the shared outside areas. We are really excited to observe the positive impact that these improvements are going to have on our learning.
