Our school has an active Year 6 Eco-Council run by Mrs Bennett.

This year we have planted trees, including Japanese Cherry Blossom trees as part of the Sakura Cherry Tree Project.

We have also encouraged our families to take part in the Big Plastic Count with the aim of reducing our use of plastics. We had a special school assembly that shared the national results.

At school, we work with adults to develop a more eco-friendly approach, which includes reduction in waste, recycling paper and other resources and ordering resources that are sustainable or more environmentally friendly.
