Of course, dressing up gets the headlines, but our day has been focussed on encouraging children to read and sharing our passion for great books!

We enjoyed a special assembly and classes buddied up to read with each other as well.

Reading is at the heart of our curriculum here at GV. From great early reading and phonics provision, we build fluency and comprehension skills and a love of reading for pleasure. 

Thanks to everyone who made the day special and to everyone who supports the reading of a child. It is a priceless gift!
